Is this the mark of a civilised society ?

In a modern society a citizens rights are the mark of how civilised that society is.

How civilised is America ?

It should be the most civilised country in the world as it was founded upon the principle ‘That all men are created equal’ and that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life,Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.  

I have just read an article (ausedpoetictragedy)  and am shocked and amazed that the Massachusetts Supreme Court deem it perfectly acceptable that an individual can covertly take photographs up womans skirts for their own perverted pleasure.

These poor women are being targeted and victimized by cowardly,sick, perverts. Where have their rights gone, surely they have a right to be able to go about their daily business without the fear of being degraded and abused, where is their Liberty.

Anyone with a shred of common sence and common decency surely knows that the pre meditated acts of these photographers are wrong and should be punished accordingly.

Come on America sort it out, what messages are you sending out to the world. We know its ‘The Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave’ but it shouldn’t be Free to do anything at the expense of others and it shouldn’t be that you have to be Brave to step out of your own door for fear of  abuse and degradation.
